Crime Publishing Network are delighted to announce they have signed Paul Sutherland, creator and host of the popular The True Crime Enthusiast podcast.
Co-founder of CPN, Adam Lloyd said: “I‘ve known Paul for a number of years through the podcasting scene, and I’m delighted that he has chosen to publish his first book with us.”
Paul explains: “Since I started creating and hosting The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, almost four years ago now, I have always hoped that at some point, the creation of the show would go into the form of a book – I have devoured so many myself over the years, it’s long been a goal to add my name and my take on several different cases of true crime to that list. When the opportunity came to do so in conjunction with Crime Publishing Network, I thought this was a brilliant chance to work with Adam and Catherine, who I have come to know over time through the community we share and as such I know clearly the professionalism each has through their own output, and the down to earth approach each has in their manner and commitment. I would prefer this as it’s what I will give and was only too happy to sign with them for CPN to bring the first book from the Enthusiast.
When speaking about the book, Paul went on to say, “I’ll offer a mixture of both an examination of selected tales from the back catalogue of the show, plus an equal amount of tales that I haven’t brought before – and hopefully, the reader will hear my voice and yes, I will keep in some of the idiosyncrasies that listeners are used to hearing from me.
Tales from The True Crime Enthusiast will be available for pre-order early September 2021.
