Crime Publishing Network are delighted to announce they have signed Jonathan Peace on a 2-book deal.Co-founder of CPN, Catherine Yaffe said: “I’m thrilled that Jonathan has decided to join with us here at Crime Publishing Network. After reading his submission I felt that he really had something great and I’m delighted to be working with Jonathan on his latest book, Dirty Little Secret, which I believe has the potential of becoming one of this year’s must-reads.”
Jonathan said, “Twitter has brought two exciting changes into my life. The first was meeting my wife, Lucy, through a writing community called #Scriptchat back in 2010. The second was discovering Catherine’s book via the #WritingCommunity hashtag which led me to CPN. I was looking for a publisher not just for my first book, but the series, and sent off an email, and was excited to get a response fairly quickly.
What sealed it for me was the obvious passion Catherine and Adam have for crime writing. It oozed throughout our phone call, which went on for nearly an hour where we talked about the book but also the fact that we are both from Yorkshire – it was so good to hear a heavy Yorkshire accent after being in Nottingham for ten years. CPN are championing a new wave of crime authors, in both fiction and non-fiction, and working with a dedicated team with such a strong passion for the subject is thrilling.
I am so excited about having my first two novels published by CPN – it’s a thrilling adventure we are both going on together.”
Dirty Little Secret will be available for pre-order end of June 2021 with a second book to be published later in the year.
